The Beach boys

The Beach boys（海滩男孩）是60年代的美国迷幻摇滚乐队。1966年5月16日，发表专辑《宠物之声（Pet Sounds）》。1970和1971年，乐队发表了两张专辑的合集。1993年，《Pet Sounds》在“泰晤士报百大专辑”排行中排在榜首。2003年，《Pet Sounds》在“滚石杂志五百大专辑”排行中排名第二。

早年经历

The Beach boys出身于加州洛杉矶南方郊区，滨太平洋海岸的小镇Hawthorne。由于Brian对50年代的合声团体兴趣使然，三兄弟常一起练习合唱。表哥Mike Love也常不预期地加入他们，而Brian在高中的美式足球队友Al Jardine的参与，则使他们有了第五位成员。原定团名为Pendletones，在与Capitol唱片签约后，才正式改名为The Beach Boys   。

演艺经历

1962年10月1日，Beach Boys发行了首张专辑《Surfin' Safari》   ，专辑内的同名单曲于同年6月发行后进入了排行榜前20名，专辑在发行后达到了美国公告牌二百强专辑榜的32位，并在榜单上停留了37周。

1963年3月4日，发售单曲《Surfin' U.S.A.》，后继了单曲《Surfin' Safari》的风格，初次进入了公告牌单曲榜的前十名。在这之后，于3月25日，专辑《Surfin' U.S.A.》也发售了，这张专辑在上榜后拿到了亚军位置。9月16日，发售专辑《Surfer Girl》，在专辑榜达到了7位，继续进入前十，专辑的同名单曲亦在单曲榜取得了相同的名次。10月7日，发售专辑《Little Deuce Coupe》   。年底时，在1963年公告牌的单曲年终榜上，The Beach boys的《Surfin' U.S.A.》排在第二，而在全年发售的专辑中，《Surfin' U.S.A.》和《Little Deuce Coupe》分别为乐队首张被美国唱片业协会认证为金唱片和白金唱片的专辑。同一时期，乐队还持续展开着巡回演出。

1964年2月3日，发布单曲《Fun, Fun, Fun》，在公告牌上排名5位。之后，收录此曲的专辑《Shut Down Volume 2》在发售后登上专辑榜13位，虽未进入前十，但获得美国唱片业协会金唱片认证。5月11日，发布单曲《I Get Around》。6月6日，这张单曲在公告牌登场为17位。7月4日，这张单曲取代了Peter and Gordon的单曲《A World Without Love》夺冠，成为Beach Boys的第一首冠军单曲，并蝉联了两周冠军。另外在英国，这张单曲在6月登上了英国单曲排行榜的7位，为他们首张在英国进入前十的单曲。10月19日，发布演唱会专辑《Beach Boys Concert》，成为他们首张在专辑榜夺冠的专辑，并蝉联四周。11月9日，发售专辑《The Beach Boys' Christmas Album》，在专辑榜达到6位，由Brian Wilson和 Mike Love创作的单曲《The Man with All the Toys》也于同日发售，并取得了单曲榜的3位。

1965年初，发布单曲《Help Me, Rhonda》，成为Beach Boys的第二首冠军曲。之后，他们发布了第七张录音室专辑《The Beach Boys Today！》。除此之外，专辑《Summer Days (And Summer Nights!)》和《Beach Boys Party》也在这一年发售了。

1966年1月，前往日本巡演时，Brian中途因为精神分裂不得不返回家中，歪打正着，他在家中养病时产生了创作《Pet Sounds》专辑的灵感。5月，他们发售了《Pet Sounds》，虽然仍然进入前十名，但却是他们从初试啼声后，第一张没有拿到金唱片的专辑。相反地，这张专辑却在美国之外的世界市场取得成功。在英国，这张专辑不但拿到了第二名，而且在NME杂志的年终票选上，他们也拿到了年度最佳团体。

1966年10月，发行单曲《Good Vibrations》，年底时成为他们的第三首冠军单曲。从1966年底到1967年初，Brian Wilson投入下一张专辑制作，原订为《Dumb Angel》，后改名为《Smile》的计划。当《Smile》的录音工作进入1967年春天后，Brian Wilson工作时数也减少了。之后，Brian Wilson正式放弃了这个计划。

1967年8月，发布《Heroes and Villains》，取了部分《Good Vibrations》的风格，未进入排行榜前十。同年秋天，团员们聚集在Brian Wilson住处所改装而成的Bel Air录音室，替《Smile》计划中的歌曲录制了另外的版本，并加入一些原创作品，最后便成了《Smiley Smile》这张专辑。1967年底，发行了回归基本路线的专辑《Wild Honey》   。

1968年，发售专辑《Fiends》。一年后，Beach Boys改与Reprise厂牌签约。

1970年，发布在Reprise厂牌下的首张专辑《Sunflower》，歌曲分别由不同团员谱写而成。1971年，推出专辑《Surf's Up》，名称取自一首从Smile计划中重新加工的歌曲。1973年，Beach Boys发布《Holland》，进入了排行榜前四十名。同年，他们发售了第三张现场专辑《The Beach Boys in Concert》   。

1974年，Capitol唱片从仓库里挖出他们的录音进行重新包装，发行精选辑《Endless Summer》。这套双LP精选冲上了冠军的位置，而且在榜上停留长达三年之久，成为一张金唱片。另一张精选《Spirit of America》则在1974年进入前十名。

1976年，发行专辑《15 Big Ones》，继续进入了前十名并成为金唱片。1978年，发售专辑《M.I.U. Album》   。1980年，Dennis Wilson和Carl Wilson离开了Beach Boys，发展他们的单飞生涯。1985年，Beach Boys发行了同名专辑，以单曲《Getcha Back》再度进入排行榜前四十名。1988年，为电影《鸡尾酒》献唱的单曲《Kokomo》再度拿下排行榜冠军宝座。

2011年年底，发布专辑《The Smile Sessions》，为《Smile》的完成版。

2012年，乐队重新聚首，展开成立50周年的全球巡回演唱会。6月5日，发表专辑《That's Why God Made The Radio》   。

The Beach Boys最早的阵容成立于1961年，第二年乐队签约Capitol唱片公司，开始在音乐上大放异彩。20世纪60年代美国的社会状态催生了包括冲浪在内青少年生活方式的兴盛，而The Beach Boys由于来自南加州的海滩边，很自然地就成为“冲浪摇滚”这种音乐形式的领军人。可能由于乐队主要成员是兄弟，因此乐队在和音表现上十分出色，同时乐队主心骨Brian Wilson对音乐创作采取完美主义的态度，并苦心专研当时长足发展的录音技术，所有这些让The Beach Boys成为美国具有代表性的乐队之一（网易评）。
